Since March 9, 1995, a group of 20 Carabinieri who were part of a Police Corp composed of 150 men (65 Germans, 20 French, 15 Dutch, 11 Portuguese, 10 Spanish, 7 British, and 2 from Luxembourg), under the command of a Dutch colonel, operated in Mostar with the task to keep the major informed about public order, criminal investigations, and patrol operations.

The mission was absorbed by IFOR (later renamed SFOR).
