"The Voice of Cifr"

This is the official bimonthly newsletter of the "Italian Center for Resistance Philately". Every issue (48 pages, written in Italian), contains articles by the members, by philatelic journalists, hints drawn from the news, remarks, translations from the foreign press, news of social life...

It includes sections for news, reviews, postmarks, and medals.

The overall focus is on the philatelic and historic-postal aspect of the Second World War. But we give room to contemporary history and other subjects drawn from current news, such as the '90 war in ex-Yugoslavia, the Palestinian situation, and the interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq and our peace keeping missions.

Also included, moreover, are in-depth inserts and "quaderni", for example the guide entitled "La Resistenza come collezione tematica" (Resistance as a thematic collection) written by the well-known international judge Nino Barberis.

At the Saluzzo's National Exhibition held in 1997, our newsletter was awarded the big silver medal in the philatelic literature class. The same medal was won at the  Vasto National Exhibition in 2003. At last, at TEMEX in Buenos Aires (October 2003) , at our first presence in an international contest of literature, our magazine, among more than 400, it won the big silver in the category "periodical publications".
